Three Basic Elements

Angle & Direction

The three angle of directions are 15 degrees, 45 degrees and 90 degrees. All of these come into effect when attacking the meridians.

Strike Point

Most of the meridians are Strike Points, these are activated by striking with either an open or closed fist, as well as with the back of the forearm.

Rub Point

Rub Points can be used on 4 of the Meridians, these are activated by pressure with either the tip of the fingers, or the back of the wrist.

Meridians

There are 12 total meridians, those being linked to the Heart, Lung, Small Intestine, Large Intestine, Gall-Bladder, Liver, Spleen, Bladder, Kidney, Stomach, Pericardium and the Triple Warmer/Triple Burner. These meridians are what Acupuncturists use to restore the energy flow to the affected area. Kyoshu-Jitsu uses these to the opposite effect, stopping energy flow for self defence purposes.
